Gratitude in Every Season
It’s easy to be thankful when everything feels calm — when the house is clean, the meals are planned, and the kids are happily working on lessons. But gratitude gets real when life looks a little messier.
The truth is, every season brings something different — the joyful, the challenging, the in-between. And yet, God calls us to be thankful through it all. Not for every circumstance, but in every circumstance.
I’ve found that gratitude isn’t about pretending everything’s perfect. It’s about seeing God’s hand right in the middle of it all — in the noise, in the chaos, and in the quiet moments that remind you you’re not alone.
Some days gratitude looks like a whispered “thank you” over a cup of coffee before the kids wake up. Other days, it’s thanking God for strength when patience is running thin. It’s in the little blessings that are easy to overlook — a hug from your child, a warm home, a meal shared together.
As we move deeper into November, I want to hold onto that kind of gratitude — the steady, quiet kind that stays no matter what the season brings.
“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Gratitude doesn’t mean every moment is easy — it means we trust that God is good in every moment. 💛
